So another year has come and gone, life goes on, the music continues to flow. What do ya know, we're still podcasting. it's been 2 years now since Brian and I started with our individual podcasts, and we kinda just realized that. It all started out as a sort of hobby, with the idea of making mix-tapes in the form of podcasts with music that were digging at the moment. Then people started downloading them from all around the world. The U.S., Europe, Asia, Canada, South Africa, Australia, South America, and The Middle East.! We were kinda baffled, and thought "well I guess I'll keep at it, it's fun, and a nice way to communicate with other ska and reggae listeners. In 2007 Daoster's Podcast and Pressure Drop joined forces, and it's been a great combination.
With all the support we have got from everyone, and you know who you are, we have been able to to do some pretty cool things with our podcast. We've had some excelent guest DJs, some of them artists, some of them actual DJs, and some of them listeners. Also, some great record labels, and awesome musicians have sent us a wealth of musical goodness to present to you, and were honored to do so.
So thanks to all of you for continuing to listen, and spreading the word!!
Every time we get an email, comment, or read the stats, it bring a smile to our face, and we can't wait to bust out the next episode.
Look out for loads of more episodes coming at you like a musical wildfire here in 2008, it gonna be a scorcher!!
