Recently I picked up this Maytals album with the song My New Name, it had that country feel that is a kind of a secret ingredient in in allot of Jamaican music. I listened to it a few billion times and decided to put together a mix of songs I could think of that sound the similar.
A couple of tune are from the Trojan Reggae For Kids Box Set. Just got back from vacation and picked up a few new albums at Amoeba Records, so why not share right?
Oh and the Agrrolites tune...I just threw that in the mix cuz it's my my favorite song on taht new album right now!
