. Summertime - Roy Richards, RIP. A bunch of artists have done this song, but I chose Roy Richards's version to pay tribute; he passed away last month (May 25, 2007). BTW, The Dynamics' rocksteady version is currently playing on my MySpace page.

2. On the Beach - Owen Gray (with King Stitt). Here in southern California, summertime means beach weather.

3. Vacation - The Melodies. I don't know how many of you are still students, but I'm a teacher, so summertime means vacation time to me.

4. Too Hot - Prince Buster. They say that rising temperatures lead to a rise in violent crime. Does Prince Buster mean the town is hot literally or figuratively? I believe both.

5. Real Hot - Lennie Hibbert. Self explanitory.
